About Us

Hartwell Woodshop (Formerly R. B. Hartwell & Sons, Inc.) is a family owned building, remodeling, and woodworking company started in 1956 by Bob Hartwell Sr. Now, in it's third generation, Jef and his crew, along with a team of specialized sub-contractors, can easily handle all home remodeling projects. Our custom woodshop produces cabinetry, architectural millwork, furniture, and all types of custom woodworking. They are also experienced in construction management, home building, CNC machining and fabrication, laser engraving, and more. 

Renovations & Additions:

We have extensive experience renovating bathrooms, kitchens, and entire homes. Our long standing relationships with trusted and skilled sub-contractors allow us to ensure high quality craftsmanship across all trades.

Cabinetry:

Our full service woodshop in Patchogue, NY can produce high quality cabinetry, millwork, and furniture.

CNC Fabrication:

With the latest CNC routing and Laser technology in house, we can cut and fabricate cabinet parts, signs, and a lot more. We welcome other woodworkers, cabinet shops, and contractors to inquire about any needs they may have.
